Winter Solstice Warmup

Greetings everyone! So here we are in the middle of the year and there have already been some wonderful accomplishments! MASH 21st Birthday Exhibition concluded in January and was a huge success. we had a lot of visitors and some very positive comments. Members enjoyed catching up with old friends and best of all it was a great way to document the group’s journey over 21 years.

At our AGM, three members were awarded life memberships. Judy Brawn, Helen McKerrow and Joan Mellahn. The Swan Hill Guardian published this lovely photo of Joan and Helen (Judy was away on the day)

First Wednesdays have featured Flower smashing with our new President Norma Anderson and a great Saturday workshop on expressive still life was facilitated by Kerryn Finch. Mosaic Mondays were held at Lorri’s and the regular Tuesday and Wednesday groups have been going strongly.

Members participated in the Lake Boga annual exhibition and the 9×5 Exhibition and auction to raise funds for “Fight Cancer” We also had a stall at the Twilight Market held in the town hall.
