Members of “M.A.S.H.” have enjoyed a most interesting term enjoying workshops with two professional artists.

In October we had two days in Tooleybuc with Ross Paterson demonstrating his pastel technique.

Renowned in all mediums, Ross has recently won an international watercolour exhibition overseas, and will return to us next year for a workshop on painting in oils.

Last weekend our tutor was Glenda Cornell from Numerka, whose current exhibition at the Shepparton Art Gallery  has been extremely successful in sales, and will continue until December 1st.

Our venue for this workshop was a plein air activity at the Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement in perfect weather complimented by the atmosphere of

laughing kookaburras, steam whistles, the occasional passing of the stagecoach and many interested visitors.

Members have greatly appreciated the continuing hospitality of Kathy and Peter at the Murray River Motel every Tuesday.

Our Christmas breakup will be at Java Spice on Tuesday,  December 3rd, and our last class for the year on the following Tuesday Dec. 10th.
