Since relocating to the Murray River Motel, Mallee Artists Swan Hill group has flourished and grown due to the generous hospitality of hosts Kathy and Peter. Each month members have a theme as a challenge, while also participating in markets and the Swan Hill Show. Currently they have installed an exhibition of small paintings at Café Allure, as part of the “Hidden” project through Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery during the “Go North Arts Trail.”
The nominated theme for November will be an abstract work, any size, any medium.
Members will be working, exhibiting and selling at two of the ‘Trail’ venues on October 20th/21st, in Swan Hill at the Murray River Motel,
also Joan Holmes’ studio at Tooleybuc, from 10am to 3.00 pm on both days, and they hope to welcome lots of people at each.
On the following week there will be a watercolour workshop conducted by Ross Patterson at the Tooleybuc Club 9.30am to 4.00pm on Wed.24th and Thurs. 25th. Limited places may still be available. If interested, contact Joan Holmes on 5030 5554.
